Homework and Exam 1
Couple of things about Homework 1:
1) Problem 27.35 does not count anymore. Its deleted from the list. So there are 12 homework problems. My apologies!!
2) I would like to discuss Homework problem #4 in detail : the one that deals with space-time diagrams. I haven't talked about it in the class, so would explain it.
About exam 1 and Homework 2:
Exam will be on Chapter 17 and 18 at the usual lab session, next thursday. So next homework will be due Wednesday midnight . I shall post them Saturday or Sunday evening.

Simulation of Electric field lines
Nice Java applet lets you simulate electric field and equipotential lines from various point charges.
The Wimshurst Machine
We did a demo of Wimshursrt machine today in our lecture class.
Two kinds of electric charge
